Was it suicide or murder? Following the sudden death of their father, two sisters with opposite temperaments - one practical and reserved, the other passionate and impulsive - are thrust into poverty by their older, estranged brother.
Inspired by the inciting incident from Sense and Sensibility, this short playlet was written to coincide with the 250th anniversary of Jane Austin's birth, but re-imagines the characters in a modern day setting.
It was presented at NODA's summer school 2025 for an evening of readings of her adapted works.

Elinor: 30s. Eldest sister. Legal executive.
