Royalty Free
The following plays are available royalty free for production in schools, youth theatres and other productions for the benefit of local communities. These plays all have a run time of less than 30 minutes.
Performance of these works is permitted under the Creative Commons Attribution - Non-commercial - No Derivatives 4.0 International terms and conditions.
Some restrictions apply, but in essence this means that you are free to perform the works for non-commercial purposes, without adaptation, giving credit to the creator.
These play scripts are are protected under international copyright law. The author grants production rights under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution - NoDerivitives 4.0 International License (CC BY-ND 4.0).
1. Author Billing and Credit
The author must receive billing in all theatre programmes promotional flyers, posters and digital advertising. The credit must read exactly as:

Such credit must be directly below the title of the play, with no lettering any smaller than any other member of the cast/crew e.g. director.
2. Script integrity.
Under the terms of the licences for the above plays, you are strictly prohibited from altering the text:

NO CUTS: Every word of dialogue and stage direction must be performed as written. No lines may be deleted or added.

NO CHANGES: Character names and settings may not be altered without reference to the author.

NO ADAPTATIONS: This script may not be translated, turned into a musical, or adapted into a screenplay without express written permission.
3. Commercial Performance Rights.
You are permitted to charge admission fees, sell tickets, or accept donations for performances of these scripts under the condition that points 1. and 2. above are fully respected.
